Lord, we look to You and trust You in this storm.
Watch over William with extra special care. Remove any pain, struggle and discomfort.
Send Him angels to comfort him, and remove any fear he may have.
Shine your light when it seems darkest for him, and carry out Your great plan for him. We may not understand it, but we trust it is good, because You are good.
Send your Spirit to soothe Melissa's heart. We ask for an abundance of grace to be poured out to her. Be the Balm of Gilead to her heart. Give her confidence that You will take the best care of that which she has entrusted to you, for one day she and William will be together again - in a beautiful place where no one is sick, nothing hurts, tears are never shed, and goodbyes no longer exist.
Little William, you have been a gift from God to all of us. We love you and look forward to seeing you one day. What a day of rejoicing that shall be. Until then, rest little boy, and let Your Heavenly Father make everything all better.
